Guided evening hike with lanterns

This guided night walk combines nature, history and special water features. By the light of the lanterns, we discover the night-time mountain landscape of the Klostertal valley.

The walk starts in the centre of Klösterle am Arlberg and follows easy, well-maintained paths, initially along the Alfenz, the defining mountain stream of the Klostertal valley. Along the way, we’ll visit various water features and learn interesting facts about their significance for nature, the landscape and life in the valley.

We’ll then follow the historic route of the Arlberg Railway, which offers repeated stunning views of Klösterle and the surrounding mountains. After a break at a former signalman’s cottage, we’ll visit the Wäldletobel. We then hike back to the centre of Klösterle by lantern light.

The tour is ideal for anyone looking for an easy evening hike in the Klostertal valley and wishing to experience the region’s nature, culture and history in a special way.
