Snowshoe hike to Muttjöchle

Guided snowshoe hike

to Muttjöchle

A genuine summit hike on snowshoes up to the Muttjöchle on the Sonnenkopf. The route takes us through the wintry mountain landscape and rewards us with a magnificent panoramic view at the summit.

From the top station of the Sonnenkopfbahn, we’ll hike through deep snow and along winter walking trails uphill towards the Muttjöchle. Step by step, we’ll gain altitude. The snow-covered landscape and the tranquillity of the winter mountains make the ascent a special experience.

Once we reach the summit, a phenomenal panoramic view awaits us. I promise. The view stretches across the Klostertal and Silbertal as far as the Arlberg, the Rätikon, the Swiss Alps and the Lechquellengebirge. Over a warm cup of tea, we’ll enjoy the view and take the time to sign the summit book.

Afterwards, feeling happy and refreshed, we’ll head back down to the Sonnenkopfbahn mountain station.

The guided snowshoe hike up the Muttjöchle is ideal for anyone who wants to experience a genuine winter summit hike and discover the snow-covered mountain world on snowshoes.
